Pumpkins glowing orange and brown,
little footsteps, tiptoe sound.
Under the moon so big and bright,
friends come out on Halloween night.
Boo! Boo! Who is that?
Is it a ghost? Is it a bat?
Peekaboo, it's only me!
Happy Halloween, one, two, three!
Sparkly capes and silly hats,
candy treats and friendly bats.
Hold my hand, there's nothing to fear,
giggles and smiles, your friends are here!
Boo! Boo! Who is that?
Is it a ghost? Is it a bat?
Peekaboo, it's only me!
Happy Halloween, one, two, three!
Play peekaboo with it
Hide behind your hands or a blanket during "Who is that?" and pop out on "it's only me." Little ones who feel unsure about Halloween learn that a costume is still a friend underneath.
